James Earl Jones Theatre Rules

The Shubert Organization still owns and operates the James Earl Jones Theatre, just like it did almost a century ago. It uses the same sets of venue rules for most of its theaters throughout NYC. They include the following stipulations:

» No cameras, cell phones, or other electronic devices are permitted during performances.

» Visitors must present tickets to be admitted to performances.

» Anyone who arrives after a show starts must wait to be admitted at the discretion of staff.

» No outside foods or beverages are permitted.

» Weapons of any kind are not allowed.

» Children under four may not attend shows.
